World AIDS Day

Red Ribbon Club in collaboration with Department of Education GDC Qazigund on 1st of December,2023 organized an Awareness programme to celebrate world AIDS day. At the outset Principal of the college Prof. G.R Verma made his deliberations on the theme. The programme was followed by interaction cum Counselling session conducted by the female Medical Officer Dr. Prajitha P Prabhakaran with female students of the college. Wherein she highlighted the causes and consequences of this deadly disease along with its preventive measures. She also sensitized the students about the ways to overcome the stigmas prevalent in the society. A large number of students from 1st & 3rd semester participated in the event. The students showed their keen interest in the interactive session and got benefitted. The programme was concluded fiwith the vote of thanks prese nted by Prof. Showkat Ahmad Malik.
