Celebration Of Gandhi Jayanti

In pursuance to the Fortnight long Activity calender chalked out by the College Debate and Seminar Committee to celebrate Gandhi Jayanti, The Department of Political Science and Urdu, Government Degree College Qazigund,under the patronage of Worthy Principal Prof. G. R. Verma on 26th of September,2023 organized a Quiz Competition on the Theme “Truth and Non-Violence ".This competition was open to students from both the 5th and 3rd semesters, divided into three groups A,B,and C.The participants in this competition showcased their dedication and enthusiasm for engaging with Mahatma Gandhi’s principles. Among the groups, Team A, comprising Mehru Mushtaq,
Syed Fizaya, and Syed Madiha, emerged as winners.Their success is a testament to their deep understanding of Gandhi’s life, teachings, and his enduring legacy.Beyond the immediate results, the competition had a profound educational impact. It provided an opportunity for students to explore the life and philosophy of one of India’s most iconic leaders.
The Quiz Competition also served as a reminder that Mahatma Gandhi’s struggles and ideas are more pertinent than ever.
